Swan Lake 3D...but really.

How could I pass up Bolshoi's Le Corsaire at our local movie theatre? Absolutely impossible! It's 4 hours of pure Russian bliss.

When we got to the theatre we saw that "Swan Lake 3D" was playing an hour later.

(ugh.)

No information on what company or even if it was a ballet version. But I knew that the only thing better than Corsaire would be: Swan Lake. SWAN LAKE IN 3D.

Long story short...

I am possibly the only person on earth who has snuck into Swan Lake 3D.

After making it though the grand pas of Corsaire we tiptoed across the hallway to Swan Lake and GUESS. WHAT.

It was MATTHEW BOURNE'S SWAN LAKE . IN 3 freaking D. Is that frizz:frazz's heaven or is that frizz:frazz's heaven?

Unfortunately in the south suburban corn fields of Illinois there was only one old old old man in the entire theatre who appreciated dance enough to sit and watch, but to be completely honest...I needed my space to absorb all the excitement.

I know I'm years late on the hype over this show but, I never want to see a female swan again. Oh. And I am in love with Richard Winsor.
