HAPPY NEW YEAR!

There is something so very peaceful about flying at night. It’s always been something I love to do and tonight is amazing! Wherever we are right now is SO dark and I can see so many stars. It’s simply beautiful. Sitting next to a really funny family too which is nice because it makes me realize I’m not the only one out there that belongs to a goon squad (I love my goon squad, but they’re crazy.)!  The father asked me for my name after he heard I was a dancer so he can “look me up on the computer” and his 20 something year old son looked like he wanted to crawl in a hole. Ha.

I had a connecting flight from Portland to Vegas and Vegas now to Chicago. Portland to Vegas was a rowdy flight because every single person on the plane (with the exception of myself) was heading there for New Years Eve. The drinks were pouring left and right and everyone was having a blast.

And then there was me, Little Miss Jealous.

I love Las Vegas almost as much as flying at night and it was so hard not to leave that grungy LAS airport on such a fun night. I did try and locate my favorite slot machine in the terminal and was unsuccessful. It’s called “Goldie” and it looks so child friendly that it could easily fit in among the beaver bopper thing at Chuckie Cheese…probably why I love it.

As if I haven’t repeated myself enough, this week has been an incredible experience for me but MOST importantly I feel more inspired and ready to work my ass off than I have in a very long time. I felt this way over the summer about a program that shall not be named, but then those feelings of inspiration and excitement came to an abrupt halt…and then we nose dived…and then I crashed…and burned and was run over. Get the picture? I’m all put back together again though, stronger than ever.

Anyway! Now that I got that little rant off my chest…

I’m wrapping 2011 up with a major bang right now which means 2012 can only get better right? I mean, I have like 12 months until the world ends anyways so I better get some fire under my butt.

BUT, in all seriousness, I am inspired and refreshed and ready, and I wish anyone taking the time to actually read this crazy post the same and that much more for the new year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Let's make 2012 great.
